Disabled Access Day is a brand new campaign about getting out and visiting places to find out about their disabled access. This has never been done before and we are looking for some volunteers to help make the campaign a success.

transport

A key part of Disabled Access Day is encouraging people to explore somewhere new. This presents a problem. How do they get there? We need transport providers to come forward and show off their accessible transport solutions.

accommodation

The focus of the Disabled Access Day is highlighting places that have great disabled access and to encourage disabled people to try new places. The day will provide a great opportunity for you to advertise the accessible rooms and facilities that you offer and to find new potential guests. We have come up with some ideas of how hotels can get involved.

Disabled Access Day

2015

Disabled Access Day is all about getting out and visiting a venue that you’ve never been to before – whether a cinema, coffee shop, sports centre or anywhere else. We’re asking disabled people and their friends and families to visit somewhere that they’ve never been before on Saturday 17th January 2015.

First things first – how would you like to be involved? Could you tell your members / supporters about us? Could you organise a group or outing to visit somewhere yourselves?
