Disabled Access Day is coming to Eastbourne!
We’re delighted to announce that Eastbourne Access Group are bringing Disabled Access Day to Eastbourne this year with over a dozen organisations taking part!
Join in the fun at The Beacon where participating organisations will be running all sorts of fun and accessible activities for you to try. Allied Mobility will have an adapted car on display for you to sit in and try the controls, while Stagecoach will have an accessible bus parked nearby for you to explore. With so many participants at the event, everyone will have the chance to try something new!

The Beacon is a newly extended shopping centre at the heart of Eastbourne. The centre has been highly rated for its accessibility and for having a brand-new Changing Places toilet as well as a standard accessible toilet, which means you can shop for all your favourite brands while enjoying the day!
