Shaw Trust is a proud supporter of Disabled Access Day. The UK wide event encourages disabled people to try somewhere new on the 17th of January. Roy O’Shaughnessy, Chief Executive, commented:
“Shaw Trust welcomes the launch of the first ever Disabled Access Day. Limited accessibility prevents people with disabilities from being able to lead an independent life. Shaw Trust is a charity committed to supporting disabled and disadvantaged people to achieve their full potential. We work with employers across the United Kingdom to address accessibility issues and barriers that prevent disabled people from working. Shaw Trust is very keen to help raise the profile of this new national awareness day now and in the future.”
